This documentary is full of so much truth that everyone needs to know. If they know it they need not to ignore it. Great movie!

Such an awesome documentary… people are so dumb sometimes. If they just would realize that weed is not harmful and that it is such an extreme source of revenue…
So hard to even talk about because it’s just ridiculous how most people view marijuana.

It was interesting, but nothing I didn’t already know. It would be an eye opener to many people, but I still don’t think it’ll be acceptable to the USA anytime soon. I recently asked a friend of mine if she would allow weed after disproving the brain-cell death propoganda piece to her and what she told me was that it shouldn’t be legal anyways. “stay sober” she told me as if it were a trend. That’s what really bugs me. She didn’t realize that it costs the USA millions (actually, I just learned from this movie it’s actually billions) to regulate. I don’t smoke weed, I don’t suspect I ever will, but I’m sure sick of spending my taxes on it.
I could give a rats ass if my neighbor grew and smoked weed. That’s her godamn business. Conservatives have sure gone a long way.

One of the major hurdles “medical marrijuana” and the whole legalization things has to get over is the fact that we produce synthic derived thc pills which serve the same medical purposes people arguing to legalize marrijuana for, however the pill has none of the high. This is the major hurdle for the medical marrijuana debate, they already have medical thc, which is legal and sold in pill form.

I loved the documentary; thank you and please if you have viewed this, tell someone about it. Spread the awareness. What a beautiful film!

you apparently didn’t watch the movie..it addresses this issue, and i completely agree, marijuana is most effective in its natural form, sure it may ease discomfort to cancer victims and what not, but medicinal marijuana doesn’t stop as a pain reliever, cancer research? blood pressure research? there is much more, and synthetic thc cannot do that, it’s just not possible, we haven’t been able to recreate anything perfectly yet. also, in this movie it also addresses the “non high” from Marinol, the side effects note “feelings of exaggerated happiness.” That’s getting high.
True, this documentary does note a lot of things already known, and doesn’t dig too deep. But most of the world still believes marijuana kills brain cells, causes irreversible brain damage, makes you a burnout, and is more harmful than cigarettes. Vaporizing wasn’t even addressed in this movie, and that takes almost all of the harmful side effects of marijuana out of the question to the average user.

This was an amazing movie, I really hate that most critics don’t know jack shit about the plant they are condeming. Their information comes from goverment campaigns, which this video shows are based on really bad science, like suffocating monkeys and blaming marijuana. This video is just THE TRUTH, it’s beautiful

In my opinion, the best marijuana documentary ever made. Legalize today!

wow , this was the most influential documentary I have ever seen. The best part was when it said that all it takes for prohibition to end is 50 percent of the vote, and one person to say its over. May we all toke in peace one day

This is one awesome documentary about Marijuana,it shows the right information that the every day people need to see to realize how important it is needed, and gives the right info needed to help educate about mother nature’s miracle plant and it’s usefulness.

I hope this movie spreads like wildfire to both the USA and Canada. The truth will be heard and I want to see our elected politicians debate the issue(s) publicly again. It’s time for change.
August 16th, 2009 at 10:14 am
Gotta say I still don’t understand why should this be a top priority issue for the U.S. in 2009. Just seems like we have much more urgent and crucial issues on which to spend our energy, talents and efforts.
August 17th, 2009 at 12:26 pm
“E” you really missed the whole point didn’t you? There is no need for a multi-national pharmaceutical company to create something that exists naturally! Yes they are able to make a perscription thc tablet but from what I’ve read it’s not as effective as the natural product. If you listend closely you would have heard that perscription drugs are responsible for tens of thousands of deaths annually alone. It’s a plant with many uses, who cares if you don’t agree with what some people prefer. If we’re going to be all moral like then let’s ban cigarettes and alcohol because I don;t use either and they kill hundreds of thousands of people annually.

This documentary is absolutely fantastic. Probably the most immoral hypocrisy I’ve ever heard of is the fact the government fully allows an industry like pharmaceuticals to dominate our society while spending billions of its inhabitants own money to fight a War on Drugs. This documentary is a piece of work our society needs to see, as well as this website; it’s all for a great cause. 50+1 isn’t that hard. Eliminate government propaganda and hit people with this TRUTH.
Also, not mentioned as thoroughly, overseas, you know, all that fighting in the Middle East surrounded by radical government officials funded by insurgencies that support terrorism, yeah, how do you think highly pursued terrorist organizations are able to function at such a high intelligence level and commit such crimes under the radar?Well, they got a crap load a cash, and it’s all from illegal drug trade. The fact there are illegal barriers on a substance that is always in demand, you saw it here, prices are ridiculously inflated throughout the United States. All that cash–>drug lords–>terrorism. And we spend so much money attempting to eliminate terrorist organizations and radical organizations/governments, too. Legalize drugs and we free up so much friggin taxpayer money to stimulate things worth investing in like curing disease, ending world hunger, education, fucking saving the god damn planet from drowning due to climate change! WAKE UP! This is the solution for world peace!

I am an activist full time, and after seeing this movie I dont see why more people are not taking action against prohibition.
Anyways, when I meet someone that is just dying to be informed the truth, If I dont have the time to go over the basics of what they need to know, then I will just tell them to watch this movie. What bothers me the most are the millions dying from cancer. It bothers me knowing they dont have to die and the cure is out there. Another great documentary that proves THC can destroy cancer cells is called “Rick Simpson/ Run From the Cure”… If you enjoyed the “union”, then make this next on your list.
(in response to “E”)- listen E, I am a legal medical marijuana patient in the state of California. I have medicated with smoke, vapor, edibles, sub-lingual THC strips, and of course what you mentioned- marinol; synthetic THC pills. I would be happy to go over with you, the extreme noticeable differences in synthetic THC, and exactly how and why these “pills” are nothing but what the government calls a “pacifier” to shut the medical community up and feed their B/S to the general public and people like you a lot more easily. Any medical patient will say “marinol (synthetic THC) is no more useful than a tic tac for treatment.

Response to “E” April 1st, 2009 at 8:37 am:
E, guess what, THC is only ONE cannabinoid found in the plant out of about 60 or so. Just because everyone talks so much about THC doesn’t mean it’s the only effective one. And to support a synthetic version containing ONE compound of an amazing plant would be comical if it wasn’t so horribly conveyed. I am so sick of people like you who present your b.s. ideas towards downplaying the medical cannabis movement.

Awesome documentary. Should be an eye opener to most!!!
October 21st, 2009 at 12:41 pm
no, I think you missed MY point. Let me start with the fact that i am a full time activist involved with ASA and MPP. I am a legal medical patient in CA that harvests 10-15 lbs in 3 month intervals via deep water culture and aeroponics. I am currently active in the extraction methods of making the purest of the pure. Now I dont like to brag, but I guess a select few of you need to know this stuff, and then you need to read my first post again, more carefully. Ignorance is bliss. Anyways.. about that movie..

“deepH20culture”- first off let me start by saying I do not appreciate you stealing my handle “deepH2Oculture”. Thats childish and nothing but a compliment to me. You linked MY name you stole to greenpassion.org in these comments, where I use the handle “deepH20culture” as an active member of that site. what else strikes me odd, is some of what you say here in these comments, are EXACT replicas of statements I have made over there at greenpassion. Im flattered by the fact you wish you could be me, but even after I put out a bulletin on greenpassion about this, you still chose to remain hidden behind the curtain. With the help of the moderator of this site, hopefully I can aquire the IP address you have from posting your comment here. It wont be hard to match it up with your IP address over on greenpassion and put you out there. Please change your comment. There had been a lot of mis-interpretation about my marinol comment. The original comment breaks it down to the fact “marinol” is a quick-fire response from the government to 99% of our fight towards legalization. My comment suggested getting over this hurdle, meaning to prove marinol ineffective and useless, so we can continue on with the fight. I hope nobody else will misread my first comment now, im sorry, i should have wrote it on a less intellectual approach for some of you.

I am snickelfritz, an administrator at GreenPassion.org.
It has been brought to my attention that one of the posters here is posing as one of our members.
The individual posting as deepH20culture is an impostor and has no known affiliation with our site. He is posing as deep[H2O]culture.
I have sent a letter to the administrator of this site requesting that the matter be dealt with.
My identity can be verified here: http://www.greenpassion.org/157019-post22.html

I am the administrator of this site and i checked out the ip addresses of both E and DeepH20Culture and they both have the same ip address and registered email. I’m not sure what the point of this one guy posing as two people arguing is but its what came up on my end.

One thing I don’t like about an un-passworded site like this is that anyone can pose as anyone at any time on the board. It doesn’t do so well for site security.
Greetings Taro. I’d like to believe that you are actually an admin here, and not simply some poser.
****COMMENT EDITED BY ADMIN*****
Yes i am the actual admin here. regards, Taro

Thanks for your attention Taro, and apologies for doubting you. On the internet, one can never be too certain about whom we are dealing with. This has definitely taken an unexpected turn. Once again, thank you for your assistance.

Hopefully everything alright with the site I haven’t finished Mind Control yet! If there’s any problem let me know where and when I can get a playlist of all the films. Thanks for anything and everything that you’ve done with this site.

What sort of problem are you having with this site?
October 29th, 2009 at 6:18 am
Hi, you are asking me what sort of problem i am having with this site.
Clicking the different taps about health etc. where i should see names of movies, documentaries i can only see dots no text. If i just held the cursor sometimes there appears a date, but no more than that. This makes it almost impossible to use the site, to select what i choose to see, for i have no clue. It also gives a sort of conspiracyfeeling, how on earth does someone manage to block all listings of movies. Gertrude

Are you using MSIE 8.0? If so there is a compatibility button on the toolbar next to the refresh button which will fix the errors you are seeing.

Unbelievable. I myself am nothing more than an occasional smoker; but after watching all of this, I do not see why I shouldn’t become a more regular one. For all of the negatives that have been thrust into my face since I was no more than 10 years-old, I would never have thought that it could be possible to change my opinion of it. Totally and completely eye-opening.
Great work to everyone involved. You guys did an amazing job. I can honestly say that I’m going to have to show this to a number of people..

I am 15 and have been high from marijuana once before.
What I want to know is what type of health ramifications does smoking bud, infrequently, have on a teenagers brain?
Also, does it hamper your physical condition in anyway? I ask this simply because I play sport and want to know if smoking bud is going to ruin my ability to do so. If anyone could answer these questions for me it would be much appreciated, thanks.
May 26th, 2010 at 9:14 am
to Kid: although there is no evidence of damage to the brain of an adolescent it’s best not to indulge in marijuana since your brain is still developing. Marijuana is a substance to be used by responsible adults. when you feel like a responsible adult then try.
It shouldn’t impair your ability to play sports. I’m 23 years old, I smoke on the weekends, and I go to the gym regularly. In fact, I go to the gym more than I smoke. Besides, look at Michael Phelps. he won around 8 medals in the 2008 beijing Olympics and we all know he has enjoyed marijuana in the past.
